Avionics & Flight Control
Everything you need to build, certify, and fly. Vantage Precision brings together world-class UAV avionics brands, giving Australian and New Zealand UAV developers access to a complete, certifiable flight system from a single local partner.
Certifiable Autopilots by Embention
The Veronte Autopilot ecosystem is one of the few flight control platforms in the world built to genuine airworthiness standards — DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160G. Developed by Embention since 2007 and trusted by Airbus, Amazon Prime Air, and BAE Systems, Veronte supports UAVs, UGVs, USVs, and eVTOLs in configurations from single-sensor redundancy through to fully distributed fail-operational systems.
As the exclusive Australian and New Zealand distributor for Embention, Vantage Precision provides local access to the full Veronte ecosystem — including autopilots, avionics, motor controllers, datalinks, and ground control stations — backed by local support throughout your program.
Mission-Critical Actuators by Volz Servos
Made in Germany since 1983, Volz Servos are the actuator of choice for demanding UAV and AAM programs worldwide. Their DA series covers everything from compact standard servos through to fully redundant, dual-channel flight control actuators rated to IP67 and qualified to DO-160G — trusted on platforms from the Northrop Grumman BAT to the Airbus SIRTAP and Vertical Aerospace VX4 eVTOL.
Volz and Embention have an established integration partnership, combining Volz actuators with the Veronte Autopilot for a proven, certifiable flight control solution. For programs on the path to UAV certification in Australia and New Zealand, this combination delivers both the performance and the paperwork trail you need.
Vision Based Navigation by Embention
With a position accuracy of 0.3–1.0 m CEP, operation up to 5,000 m AGL at speeds to 50 m/s, and an update rate of 30–60 Hz, the VBN is engineered for demanding UAV and eVTOL programs. Pre-loaded maps deliver zero drift, while real-time in-flight mapping keeps drift to under 1% of distance traveled. A dead-reckoning fallback ensures continuity even when visual conditions degrade. It connects via CAN 2.0, CAN-FD, RS232, and RS485 with the Veronte autopilot ecosystem or third-party flight controllers.
High-Power Motor Control by Embention
For programs on the path to airworthiness, the MC110 is developed to DO-178C, DO-254 (DAL B), and DO-160 aviation standards, with a full certification datapack and Environmental Stress Screening on every unit. It integrates natively with the Veronte autopilot ecosystem and connects via CAN FD, CAN 2.0, RS232, RS485, and PWM.
High-Performance Propulsion by Plettenberg
Their portfolio includes inrunner and outrunner BLDC motors, brushed DC motors, ESCs, and starter & generator systems, all engineered for mission-critical performance and qualified to MIL-STD-810H. Whether you're powering a long-endurance fixed-wing UAV or a high-cycle rotorcraft, Plettenberg motors are built to outlast and outperform.
