Vision Based Navigation by Embention

The Veronte Autopilot VBN is a vision-based navigation system purpose-built for operations where GNSS cannot be relied upon. Using advanced computer vision, onboard SLAM, and Visual Place Recognition algorithms, it provides continuous, accurate positioning in tunnels, urban canyons, contested environments, and any scenario where satellite signals are degraded or unavailable, all from a single compact unit integrating an EO camera, IMU, and temperature sensor.

With a position accuracy of 0.3–1.0 m CEP, operation up to 5,000 m AGL at speeds to 50 m/s, and an update rate of 30–60 Hz, the VBN is engineered for demanding UAV and eVTOL programs. Pre-loaded maps deliver zero drift, while real-time in-flight mapping keeps drift to under 1% of distance traveled. A dead-reckoning fallback ensures continuity even when visual conditions degrade. It connects via CAN 2.0, CAN-FD, RS232, and RS485 with the Veronte autopilot ecosystem or third-party flight controllers.

High-Power Motor Control by Embention

The Veronte Motor Controller MC110 is a certifiable inverter built for eVTOL and high-performance UAV propulsion. It handles input voltages from 65 to 800V, sustains 200A continuously with 280A peaks, and delivers up to 110 kW — all in a compact, liquid-cooled unit. Advanced Field Oriented Control algorithms drive both sensored and sensorless motors with precision, while bi-directional operation and regenerative braking add further capability for complex multi-rotor architectures.

For programs on the path to airworthiness, the MC110 is developed to DO-178C, DO-254 (DAL B), and DO-160 aviation standards, with a full certification datapack and Environmental Stress Screening on every unit. It integrates natively with the Veronte autopilot ecosystem and connects via CAN FD, CAN 2.0, RS232, RS485, and PWM.
